Eyebrow Transplantation

Permanent results and 100% natural look.

Eyebrow transplantation is the surgical procedure, where shape, density and natural appearance of the eyebrows are restored / reproduced.

What are the causes of the eyebrow loss?

The main cause of eyebrow loss is repeated physical and chemical micro trauma: overgrowth or excessive use of cosmetics which eventually irritate the follicle, resulting in scarring in the area and the inability of the hair follicle to form new hair.
Other causes that lead to eyebrow loss worth mentioning are: trauma, accidents, burns, age (people over 50-60 years), inflammatory diseases, and congenital defects.

What are the benefits of eyebrow transplant?

Transplantul de sprancene este o procedura sigura, care, daca este efectuata de un chirurg experimentat , duce la rezultate spectaculoase si permanente.

  • Eyebrow transplantation is a safe procedure if performed by an experienced surgeon. If the right doctor performs this operation, this results in spectacular and permanent results;
  • Dr. Mihai Motora is the chairman of the Romanian society for surgery and hair restoration;
  • The most experienced hair transplant layer in Transylvania, the surgery is performed by plastic surgeons specializing in FUE technology and ISHRS members (International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery);
  • Pre and postoperative counseling (both online and at the clinic);
  • New and innovative technologies from the United States, Italy, South Korea, Japan and Turkey, both for follicle withdrawal and implantation;
  • Intraoperative PRP treatment is included;
  • Free laser treatment for the hair;
  • All Inclusive Services: 2 or 3 nights’ accommodation at 5 * hotels, 3 meals per day, transportation to and from the clinic and airport;
  • Post-operative medication assured.
What are the stages of the operation?

The operation takes between 3-6 hours depending on the complexity of reconstruction and requires between 50-500 hairs harvested from the donor area.
The grafts are extracted from a very small area of the neck. This requires shaving the area to a length of a few millimeters.
Usually, the hair grows out so that the scalp is not visible after 1-2 weeks.

Operation stages:

  • The surgeon, who listens to the patient’s requirements, draws the shape of the eyebrows so that they look as natural as possible. To get a natural look, the hairline must be placed obliquely and follow the same direction of growth as the normal hairline;
  • First, the outer contours of the eyebrow are filled at the desired density. The hair strain used is separated under the microscope;
  • Local anesthesia is administered in the donor area and the number of preserved hair suits is harvested;
  • The transplanted hair is genetically encoded and won’t fall off, so the results are natural and permanent.
Which are the risks and side effects of the operation?

The most important side effects are edema (swelling) and redness in the area of the affected areas for 2-3 days, which is a normal auto protection of the body. Post operation, each patient receives indications and medications that help reduce these unwanted effects.

Among the risks and complications of the operation are: allergic reaction to anesthesia or other drugs, infection, excessive bleeding. We mention that none of the patients who followed our treatments and instructions have suffered from these complications.

When will the results appear?

The crusts will fall during the first 10-12 days after surgery, both in the donor area and the implant area (eyebrows).

The Implanted hair falls off during the first 2-4 weeks; the follicles remain implanted under the skin. This is normal and is part of the hair growth cycle. For 3-4 months after surgery, the hair begins to become visible in the skin, and for 6-10 months the growth is complete and the end result is displayed.
